Delete your Dafne account and data

This page explains how users of the Dafne: AI Voice Chat app can request deletion of their app account and associated data. It is publicly available for Google Play and App Store account deletion requests.

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Dafne app.
  2. Go to Account, then Settings.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request in the confirmation dialog.

In-app deletion permanently deletes your Dafne app account, conversations, profile, and saved app data, except where limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, or legal compliance.

Request deletion without app access

If you cannot access the app, send an email from the email address connected to your Dafne account to info@dafne.talk with the subject "Delete my Dafne account".

Include your Dafne account email address and, if available, your user ID. We may ask for additional information to verify that you control the account before deletion is processed.

Data deleted with your account

  • Account and profile data connected to your Dafne app account.
  • Saved conversations, messages, titles, and transcripts.
  • Saved preferences, app settings, and account-linked memories.
  • Usage data tied to your account where it is no longer needed for security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

We generally complete verified account deletion requests within 30 days.

Data that may be retained

Some limited records may be retained after account deletion where this is required or justified for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

Backup copies and technical logs may remain for up to 90 days before they are overwritten or deleted. Purchase, subscription, invoice, tax, and payment-verification records may be retained for the legally required period, which can be up to 10 years where applicable.

Deleting your Dafne account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the store account where the purchase was made.

Du kannst deinen Dafne-Account in der App unter Account, Einstellungen, Account löschen dauerhaft löschen. Dadurch werden dein App-Account, Konversationen, Profil und gespeicherte App-Daten gelöscht, soweit keine begrenzte Aufbewahrung aus Sicherheits-, Betrugspräventions-, Abrechnungs-, Steuer- oder Rechtsgründen erforderlich ist.

Wenn du keinen Zugriff mehr auf die App hast, sende deine Löschanfrage von der mit deinem Dafne-Account verbundenen E-Mail-Adresse an info@dafne.talk. Bitte nutze den Betreff "Delete my Dafne account".

Verifizierte Löschanfragen werden grundsätzlich innerhalb von 30 Tagen abgeschlossen. Backups und technische Logs können bis zu 90 Tage verbleiben. Kauf-, Abo-, Rechnungs-, Steuer- und Zahlungsprüfungsdaten können, soweit erforderlich, für die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Dauer gespeichert bleiben, regelmäßig bis zu 10 Jahre.
